The
CHANGE A CHILD’S FOREVER FAITH LEADERS LUNCHEON
will be in Oklahoma City on September 16 and in Tulsa on September 17. Both luncheons will inspire
faith leaders and give them the vision to engage their congregation and individuals in their
congregation to serve in various areas of the needs of foster children and Bridge foster families. A
FREE lunch will be provided with pre-registration. The deadline to register for the free lunch
is September 13 for Oklahoma City and September 14 for Tulsa, 2010; however general registration will
close the day before each event. For both events, sign in starts at 11:30 AM, Lunch will be served at
11:45 PM for persons who pre-registered and the event will conclude by 1:15 PM.

DIAPER DRIVE for Central Oklahoma
- DHS offices need diapers for the infants in their care. This is a great
project for congregations or businesses. In May, one interested citizen
hosted a wine and cheese party for her friends and they collected all
kinds of things for the children, the ideas for collection are unlimited.
Volunteer Coordinator Natalie Biddinger will be glad to pick up quantities
or you can deliver them to the Juvenile Justice Center, 5905 N Classen
Ct, 4th floor Receptionist. For questions, contact

- Preparedness can include everything from educating your family and neighborhood about fire safety and
prevention to a plan for responding to the many natural disasters in Oklahoma. Visit

Be Ready Sunday/Week
will be acknowledged September 19-26, 2010. These dates include two Sundays
as options for faith congregations. The

ARTFUL ASKERS
will bring 4 fundraising workshops to Oklahoma in 2010. The format
includes an all-day training event on Friday from 9AM to 4PM with
optional consulting on the following Saturday. The consulting
will be provided in both a general session setting and private
appointments from 9AM to 12Noon (no food provided). The cost of
the training is $75 and includes the workbook, CD, handouts and
lunch. Dates are listed below and locations will be posted soon.
